Attendance is marked twice-in the morning and after the recess by the class teacher. A student has to put in a minimum 75% of attendance during the academic session. This includes attendance put in the previous school if the student has come on transfer. This rule holds good for the physical education class also.

If a student absents himself for more than six days continuously, his/her name is struck off the rolls. Leave application must be signed by the guardian or parent and a note for the same is also made in Almanac.

The student should submit the leave application forwarded by the class-teacher and the same is forwarded to the Principal/Vice Principal for the grant of leave.

A student being late or absent from school is fined Rs. 10.00 per day.

Application for long leave or leave during examination days on medical grounds should invariably be supported by a medical certificate.

Repeated absence without valid reason renders the students liable to be removed from school.

Every student of the school is allowed to draw two books every fortnight. In case a book is misused or wrongly handled or lost, the student responsible shall have to either replace the whole set or pay double the value of the set.

The librarian may call for a book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired. If a book is not returned to the librarian on its due date, an overdue charge of  Rs. 5/- per day will be charged.

Books may be got renewed with the permission of the librarian.

Any loss of book should be immediately brought to the notice of the    Librarian

Guidelines and important information for parents / guardians
An Almanac has been provided to all children. The purpose of this diary is to provide general information to parents and children about the working of schools. This diary will help children note down their class work and home work. Thus parents can check and supervise the work of the children at home. The diary keeps a daily record of the work and activities undertaken by the child.

Parents will help their children if they pay attention to the following:

Check daily the record of home work and the 'remarks' if any given by the teacher and sign it. Put your signature daily on the diary. Make a note of the time taken by the child in finishing the homework.

Encourage your ward to attend school regularly and punctually.

Please see that your ward should be equipped with text books, stationary and other articles required for studies.

Your ward should come to school in proper uniform which is to be stitched according to the specifications given by school.

Kindly see that your child has a time table for studies and games at home also and it is followed properly.

If progress of your child is not up to the mark, you should see the Principal/Vice Principal after seeking an appointment to discuss the remedial measures to be taken.
